Check Labels: Obvious but true and to be honest, who does actually check labels? We feel you, but… Always refer to the care labels inside your garments for specific washing instructions!
Machine Wash Cold: Use cold (max 30 degrees) water to preserve fabric integrity and prevent color fading.
Gentle Cycle: Select a gentle or delicate cycle on your washing machine.
Mild Detergent: Use a mild, biologic detergent. Avoid fabric softeners and bleach as they can degrade performance fabrics.
Zippers and Fastenings: Close all zippers and fasten velcro straps to avoid snagging and friction. Preferably, put these items in a laundry bag.
Air Dry: Lay your gear flat or hang it to air dry. Avoid direct sunlight and high heat to prevent damage to the fabric and elastic components.
Avoid Tumble Drying: Do not tumble dry, as it can cause shrinkage and affect the fabric’s performance.
Separate Colors: Wash dark and light-colored items separately to prevent color transfer. The first washing cycle, add a colour catcher.
Inside Out: Turn garments inside out to protect prints and reflective details during washing.
Avoid Ironing: Most performance fabrics should not be ironed. If necessary, use the lowest setting and place a cloth between the iron and the fabric.
Cool, Dry Place: Store your gear in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to avoid UV damage.
Avoid Folding: Hang items when possible to maintain shape and elasticity. If folding, avoid placing heavy items on top.
Jerseys and Bib Shorts: Follow the above washing and drying instructions. Ensure chamois pads in bib shorts are fully dry before storing.
Jackets and Outerwear: Hand wash or machine wash on a gentle cycle. Use a specialized detergent for technical fabrics if available.
Gloves and Accessories: Hand wash or use a mesh laundry bag in the washing machine. Air dry only.
